Pastor
Earl O. Holiman
Pastor Earl O. Holiman was born in Indianapolis,
Indiana, August 15, 1930, to Walter and Lyda
Holiman. He was the youngest of thirteen children.
He attended public school #42, Crispus Attucks
High School, and after two years in the Army,
he completed one year at Indiana University.
After
coming to Denver in 1959, he pursued his education,
earning an Associate Arts Degree at Community
College of Denver, a Bachelor of Arts Degree
from Metropolitan State College, A Bachelor
of Biblical Studies, A Masters of Christian
Education, culminating in a Doctor of Divinity
Degree, all from Family Bible Institute.
Pastor
Holiman was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost
in 1948, while in Fresno, California with his
older brother, Elder Harold Holiman. He was
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ by the
late E.L. Jackson in Madera, California.
Called
to the ministry in 1951, he was active in Christ
Temple Apostolic Church, until being sent to
Denver in 1959. He met and married Aurelia Jesella
Minton in 1950. They have two children, Belinda
Cook and Earl Jr., and one grandson, Eriq Cook.
