First Lady Aurelia Jesella Holiman was born
December 23, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana,
to Irene and Jesse Minton. There were ten children
born to this union, six boys and four girls.
She has been married to Bishop Earl O. Holiman
for fifty one years.
Sister
Holiman moved to Denver with her husband, where
they started a work for the Lord. Bethsaida
Temple Christian Center is the vision the Lord
brought to the fruition. In addition to being
First Lady, she is the president of the Women’s
Auxiliary. Sister Holiman loves the song, “It’s
So Sweet to be Saved.” Her special testimony
is after reading the book, Angels
on Assignment by Charles F. Hunter as told
by Roland Buck, God fully revealed himself to
her. She also shares that her experience to
the Holy Land was awesome!
Sister
Holiman has worked in management at U.S. West
and has also worked as an educator in the Denver
Public School system. She has since retired
from both careers. Although retired she still
keeps busy by being involved in the community
and holds the title of Park Hill Neighborhood
Block Captain.
